Philodendron Micans

Philodendron micans is native to the tropical forests of Central and South America. It grows as a hemiepiphyte, beginning life on the forest floor or climbing host trees, rocks, or fallen logs to reach filtered light. In its natural habitat it prefers dappled shade beneath the canopy, consistently moist but well-draining substrates rich in organic matter, and high ambient humidity, which together support its velvety, bronze-to-green foliage and vining growth habit.
